Jenna Ramos – Vocals & Trumpet

Jenna Ramos has been singing and making music for as long as she can remember. Her musical journey began in church, where she learned to sing and harmonize alongside her father, an accomplished vocalist and trumpet player, during services at St. James Episcopal Church in Woonsocket.
Her passion for music led her to study brass performance and jazz voice at Boston Conservatory and Rhode Island College, where she trained with renowned musicians David Ohanian (Canadian Brass), Joseph Foley (Rhode Island Philharmonic, Atlantic Brass), and jazz vocalist Shawnn Monteiro.
Over the years, Jenna has performed and taught in a wide variety of musical settings, including musical theater, drum corps, jazz ensembles, concert bands, and tribute acts. She is a founding member and lead vocalist of the funk and soul tribute band Funky Submarine and is also an active member of the Rhode Island Brass Society.
When she’s not on stage with Hey Nineteen, Jenna serves as the School Partnerships Coordinator and Educator for SoundHouse Arts in Cumberland, Rhode Island, where she shares her passion for music with the next generation of musicians.
