ey Nineteen needed a fill in vocalist for some gigs in Summer 2015 including Annapolis, MD and Jim Thorpe, PA and we were lucky enough to hook-up with Barbie Byer. Barbi did a tremendous job learning the harmonies, percussion and dance moves and we are so grateful for her help and friendship 🙂

Sing With B is owned and operated by Barbi Beyer, a South County local dedicated to community building and early childhood education in RI.

Sing With B is a certified provider of Music Together RI classes. Using the nationally accredited and acclaimed Music Together Program, Barbi has been hosting child enrichment classes in North Kingstown since 1997. These highly sought-after mommy and me -type family classes are an incredibly educational and fun introduction to live music-making. Sing With B Music Together classes are appropriate for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten students.

Musical Birthday Parties are a fun, relaxing, and educational way to celebrate your child’s birthday. As an experienced birthday party entertainer, Barbi seamlessly works her routine into the flow of your event, whether held at home or at a local venue. A Musical Birthday Party is a great choice for a first, second, third, fourth, fifth, or even sixth birthday!

Music education begins organically at home through developmentally-appropriate activities. To that end, Barbi and her sister Hanni recorded two lullaby cd’s that are now available online. These soothing song selections make a great baby shower or new baby gift!

Barbi Beyer is a university-trained vocalist enjoying life in RI as a singer and songwriter, Music Together teacher, and mother to two daughters. If you ask one of her young students, though, she is far more than that. This Rhode Island icon has reached celebrity status with the children of South County. A veritable Pied Piper, Barbi is a gifted early childhood educator and entertainer committed to fostering a love for music in a child’s early years. The parents in her classes all agree that learning is not solely focused on the younger students in Barbi’s classroom. The adults leave a Sing With B Music class with a few more tools in their parenting toolbox, a renewed confidence in their musical ability, and the ability to encourage musical learning in their children.

For Barbi, this mission began at home, where her deep love for music and children unfolded organically while raising her own children. Her wish to continue to combine these two passions led her to Princeton, New Jersey in 1996. There, Barbi trained at the Center for Music and Young Children and became a registered Music Together teacher. She later went on to record two children’s lullaby cd’s with her sister; I See The Moon and I See The Moon Too.

Today, Barbi is the is the director of Sing With B Music, offering Music Together classes and performing both public and private musical programs. Her services are highly sought for birthday parties, school assemblies, and recreational concerts. She feels Music Together is an exceptional program and is thrilled to continue to offer classes in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
